Definition

› the part of the body at the bottom of the leg on which a person or animal stands: I’ve got a blister on my left foot. He got to/jumped to/rose to his feet (= stood up) to get a better look at the parade passing by. I’ve been on my feet (= standing) all day serving customers. The driver of the stolen car fled the scene on foot (= walking).
