Definition

the seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, etc., in which existence is measured, or the past, present, and future considered as a whole: I really don’t have time to call her today. The children spent most of their time outdoors. We’d save time (= It would be quicker) if we didn’t have to pick up Bobby on the way. If you waste time, you do not make good use of the amount of time available to you.
