FINANCE a situation in which an investment or part of an investment is in the currency of another country so that the value of the investment may be affected by changes in the value of that currency, or the amount of money that is a risk in this way: A project has currency exposure when the currencies for its expenditures and revenues are not the same. We shall be looking to minimize our currency exposure. Our largest currency exposures are to the Yen and the British pound.
