› FINANCE, STOCK MARKET an arrangement in which a financial company invests money in shares, bonds, etc. for an organization or group of investors: As many as 80% of new investors are still opting for a managed fund. One way of balancing risk is to invest your money in a managed fund. A lot of cautious managed funds have 60 per cent equity and 40 per cent bonds.
