E-COMMERCE information that is put onto a website or CD-ROM without being checked or changed to make sure that it is suitable or useful: Any CD that promises 10,000 "professional fonts" for $3 is shovelware.
IT software that is put onto a computer that is not necessary or useful: Hardware vendors tend to dump a lot of shovelware on packaged PCs.
