[U] in the UK, ​paper that is a ​standardsize of 42 ​centimetres by 59.4 ​centimetres: a ​sheet of A2 A2 ​paper
[C] (plural A2s) a ​publicexam taken in ​England and ​Wales by ​childrenaged 17 or 18. Students take AS ​levelexams then A2s, usually a ​yearlater, which together make a ​full A ​levelqualification.
